El guayacán concluded its participation in Ícaro Industria and Ícaro Mercado 2025 with three incentives that will support the next stages of its development.
The Panamanian feature film is one of the original projects developed by The Vision Framework. It received direct admission to the second stage of HashTransmedia’s transmedia project lab, personalized production and budgeting guidance from Talishté Producciones, and a character consultation from Central de Guion.
These incentives will make it possible to continue working on the project across different areas of its narrative and production development.
The in-person stage concluded a process that began with the virtual activities in October. During the week in Guatemala, we presented El guayacán during the public pitch at Ícaro Mercado, participated in individual meetings, and exchanged perspectives with filmmakers and professionals from different countries.
The conversations held during the market expanded The Vision Framework’s professional network and opened new possibilities for collaboration on El guayacán and future company productions.
As part of the final activities, we also participated in a FAM Tour of Antigua Guatemala focused on historic and cultural sites and places of interest for audiovisual production.
