El guayacán begins the virtual stage of the Encuentro Internacional de Coproducción at Ícaro Industria 2025 today.
The Panamanian feature film is one of the original projects developed by The Vision Framework. From October 18 to 24, the team will participate in masterclasses and individual consultations focused on different areas of film project development and presentation.
The process will include Cecilia Gómez de la Torre, who will address distribution; Diana Vargas, with a session on pitching for markets; Isabella Gálvez, on budgeting and financing; Ivette Liang, on project dossiers; and Viviana Saavedra, on co-production.
In addition to the training sessions, El guayacán will receive individual consultations with each specialist. These meetings will make it possible to review the project from different perspectives and continue preparing its presentation for co-production and market settings.
The virtual stage will strengthen tools relevant to the development of El guayacán and to the way The Vision Framework presents its productions to potential industry partners.
